Hotel Reservations

The California Homeless Education Conference has secured a block of hotel rooms at discounted rates, exclusively for conference participants. Reservations must be made online or by calling 800-772-8527 and asking for the 2025 California Statewide Homeless Education Conference rate. The reservation deadline is Friday, April 11, 2025, or whenever rooms sell out.
 

Conference Rate & Hotel Policies

$245 + $15 hotel service fee*, plus taxes per night (single or double occupancy)
*The $15 per night hotel service fee is subject to taxes (total fee with tax is $16.92 per night) and includes complimentary guestroom WiFi and other hotel amenities. 

Deposit: A deposit equal to the first night's room, hotel service fee, and taxes will be charged at time of booking to the credit card or debit card used to reserve the room. 

Hotel Reservation Cancellation Policy: Reservations must be canceled or modified at least 48 hours prior to arrival, by 6pm, to avoid a one-night charge.
In an event of a guest No Show, a fee of one night's room rate will be charged.

How far is the hotel from the airport?
San Diego International Airport (SAN) is less than 8 miles and approx. 20 minutes away from the hotel by taxi or rideshare.

Ride Share to/from the Airport

Several companies offer Ride Share services at San Diego International Airport. Designated Ride Share passenger pickup locations are listed below:

  • Terminal 1: Travelers will exit baggage claim, use the new pedestrian crosswalk, with a traffic light to provide access to Ground Transportation resources (VFH, Courtesy, Taxis, Rideshare and RCC). See signage for assistance.
  • Terminal 2: Upon exiting baggage claim, use main crosswalk to Transportation Plaza. Ridesharing pick-up is located in the second lane on the right. See signage for assistance.
     

Getting Around San Diego

What is the distance to the city center?
Downtown San Diego is less than 7 miles from Town and Country Resort and is accessible via Trolley, Bus, Uber, and Lyft.

Are there any public transport options available near Town and Country Resort?
We recommend using Uber and Lyft to get around town.

The Fashion Valley trolley stop is also located directly behind the property where you can also hop on several buses. For more information about MTS services, or to purchase trolley tickets, please visit the MTS website.
