The 2024 California Statewide Homeless Education Conference, May 8-10, 2024, is less than a month away. For those who have yet to book a hotel room at the Town and Country Resort in San Diego, California, please note that the room block has sold out. Attendees are welcome to reach out to the resort in case any additional rooms open up due to cancellations, however, there are several local nearby hotels. The California Homeless Education Conference has secured a block of hotel rooms at discounted rates, exclusively for conference participants. Reservations must be made online or by calling 800-772-8527 and asking for the California Statewide Homeless Education Conference rate. The reservation deadline is Friday, April 12, 2024, or whenever rooms sell out.

$235+ tax/night*, single or double occupancy
*Rate is subject to a $15/night hotel service fee, which includes complimentary guestroom WiFi and other hotel amenities.

San Diego International Airport (SAN) is less than 8 miles and approx. 20 minutes away from the hotel by taxi or rideshare.
Ride Share to/from the Airport
Several companies offer Ride Share services at San Diego International Airport. Designated Ride Share passenger pickup locations are listed below:
Terminal 1: Travelers will exit baggage claim, use the new pedestrian crosswalk, with a traffic light to provide access to Ground Transportation resources (VFH, Courtesy, Taxis, Rideshare and RCC). See signage for assistance.
Terminal 2: Upon exiting baggage claim, use main crosswalk to Transportation Plaza. Ridesharing pick-up is located in the second lane on the right. See signage for assistance.
GETTING AROUND SAN DIEGO
What is the distance to the city center?
Downtown San Diego is less than 7 miles from Town and Country Resort and is accessible via Trolley, Bus, Uber, and Lyft.
Are there any public transport options available near Town and Country Resort?
We recommend using Uber and Lyft to get around town.
